The Great Wave
Here is a drawing I did as an interpretation of one of my most favourite paintings called The Great Wave. One painting from a series called Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji by Japanese artist Hokusai. A master woodblock artist and print maker, Hokusai has been called the father of manga and produced in his lifetime 30,000+ sketches, paintings, prints and picture book images. Cool dude!
