Mille Roches Powerhouse
The Powerhouse, built in 1901 in Mille Roches, Ontario, is a subject I’ve wanting to draw for a few years now and my Great Grandfather once worked there which also makes it special. This past summer I made this artwork for the Lost Villages Brewery as the label art for their Powerhouse Session IPA and the artwork was very well received.
Today the powerhouse rests 40+ feet under the St. Lawrence river and is a popular Ontario scuba diving destination located in the Long Sault Parkway. I hope you enjoy the artwork.
