Crabtown

$80.00 CAD
I’d first learned about Crabtown while hiking along the Trans Canada Trail in Burnaby when I came across a sign marking the history of the village. From the early 1910s through the ’50s this village thrived along the waterfront, attracting millworkers, artists and families. These so-called squatters built a unique community and I wanted to capture this historic place in a whimsical illustrated scene of an early morning along the water.
